For over 50 years Diamond Valley Learning Centre (DVLC) has transformed lives through creating educational opportunities for people of the Banyule/Nillumbik region and the wider precinct not served by mainstream education: women returning to work, immigrants, at-risk youth and older citizens. DVLC is considered a thriving hub of activity where people come to learn new skills, meet others and complete courses that enable them to take a new direction in life.
DVLC is a not-for-profit charitable organisation operating as an Adult Learning Centre, a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), a Learn Local and a Neighbourhood House.
Governance
The DVLC is governed by a Committee of Management (The Board) which is responsible for the strategic direction and overall educational focus of the organisation.
